福塔萊薩人與城市里最大的兩個俱樂部——塞阿拉競技俱樂部和福塔萊薩足球俱樂部——都熱愛足球，隨著主場卡斯特朗體育場的改建，熱情度更加攀升。

建於1973年的卡斯特朗體育場，是兩支球隊的主場，並為舉辦2013聯合會杯和2014巴西世界杯進行了翻新。

球場的容量增加至58,704人，擁有1，900個車位的地下停車場，行政包廂，VIP區，媒體中心，混合區和煥然一新的更衣室，一個新的頂棚覆也蓋了所有的座位區。

前往卡斯特朗體育場的交通也升級了，有四條巴士專用道，一條輕軌與兩個地鐵站，這使得球迷更輕鬆便捷地到達球場，並形成一個涵蓋了餐廳，影院，酒店和奧體中心的綜合設施。
